arthaus* - Going Places EP free download

This EP was stuck in the PKi! vaults for the longest time. To those familiar with the arthaus* moniker, this offering wouldn’t come as a surprise. Its still weird. Its still only danceable if your idea of dancing is stuttering and uneasy jerks. Its still arthaus*.

But what you might not expect is a sort of coherence with its not-so-repetitive-repetitive beats, a type of formed idea, while still maintaining the drugs in its system to make it whacked out like it always was. Don’t let this cat out of the rehab just yet, there’s still a lot of flushing out of his system to be done. But hey, its not that we condone rehab and flushing out your system.

arthaus* is just fucked up man.

Its different from all the electronica that’s coming out locally, and jeebuz, these 3 songs of playful tones and warped beats proves that point (both the part where its different and arthaus* being fucked up). We all have the hardest time grasping what this music actually is, so I guess Spazzkid said it best when he coined the term “Acid IDM.”
